Boss girl. Studio Owner. Artist. Creator. Photographer. Mama. Cat Mama. Dreamer
Love. Live. Create. Dream
There are THREE reasons why I created my little business,
1. TO SPOTLIGHT AND GIVE BACK TO LOCAL ANIMAL RESCUE
2. TO PROTECT THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANET WE LIVE ON BY UP-CYCLING GORGEOUS HOME FURNISHINGS
3. TO RAISE MONEY FOR MY DREAM OF OPENING A YOGA STUDIO AND ANIMAL SANCTUARY

Hi, I'm Danni,
Cat Mom. Girl Mom. Artist. Old school furniture collector and gypsy at heart. I grew up on Vancouver Island and spent most weekends on my aunt's farm on Salt Spring Island, one of my most favourite places. My twin sister and I were wild kids and my mom made sure we were outdoors 24/7 which is probably why I LOVE nature so much. I love the west coast and even though I've lived in Europe and traveled around the world, I always end up back on the Island because this is where my soul is happy.
I've been in love with old school furniture my whole life and I've always had rattan, wicker or bamboo furniture in all the MANY places I've lived (I truly was a gypsy until I was blessed with my two daughters). There are three things I ADORE.
My family, nature and animals. The ocean is my therapist as are my rescue cats (I have A LOT).
I started Studio Oceana years ago, creating reclaimed wood signs with my fave quotes from people I am always inspired by such as John Muir and Emily Carr and now I am SUPER STOKED to open boheme home & decor because it embodies everything I see for the future of interior design and home decor: sustainability, naturally made decor for a healthier home and upcycled home furnishings for a healthier planet.
I love rescue cats (I have many) and I am so happy to be able to to help local animal rescue by donating partial proceeds from every sale to animal rescue organizations like Broken Promises Rescue.
SUSTAINABLE NATURAL UPCYCLED
So I embraced by Crazy Cat lady status years ago.
We have 6 rescued cats and rescue animals are a huge part of my life.
That's why Partial proceeds goes to awesome local rescues groups I love and support.
Cool Sustainable furniture that helps animals and nature ?
Yea. That's how we roll.
